Upset that scripture verse being taken out of context on an email campaign

I was just sent an email and the gist of it was to send an email around to everyone asking them to pray so 2 Chronicles 7:14 would apply to us in America. Though I think it would be great if America would repent and turn from their wicked ways, what 2 Chronicles 7:14 is clearly referring to is Israel and not any other country. I base this on the fact that only 1 country, Israel (all 12 tribes, not just Judah) are called His Chosen People. As believers in Messiah, we're grafted into the Commonwealth of Israel, as Shaul (Paul) clearly writes in Romans 11:1-36 (the whole chapter), Galatians 4:1-7, and in Ephesians 2:11-13 to just site some NT verses that do support believers in Messiah now becoming the Commonwealth of Israel being grafted into the chosen or elect, because they choose to follow King Messiah Yahshua, whom most of the world calls Jesus.

I just think its a far stretch to think that 2 Chronicles 7:14 applies to any other country but Israel only. Chronologically, this set of scriptures is before the separation of the Southern/Northern Kingdoms and before the Northern Kingdom of Israel was even dispersed by Assyria and Judah's captivity to Babylon. Clearly the scripture reference can allude to the fact that Yahweh is already foreseeing that His people are beginning to slip into idolatry. If you read on into verse 19, it parallels Deuteronomy 30 (pretty much the whole chapter, but more focused on 11-20) virtually verbatim, but shorter, a more capsulized proclamation.

Not to mention that most Christians do not, let alone Jews, even call the Creator of the Universe by his Memorial Name: Yahweh. Christians and Jews say God, yet we know any place The LORD is in English, its the Tetragramaton, YHVH, Yahweh, in Hebrew. 2 Chronicles 7:12, has YHVH in the Hebrew (I looked it up) so Yahweh speaking to Solomon (Shlomo), so clearly any reference to the words my name, shmi in the Hebrew, is clearly Yahweh speaking first person when He says My Name to Solomon. It is understood that one must have an understanding of Him as well as His Name for the verses to take on any meaning or substance that Yahweh will hear from Heaven and heal the Land (Eretz Yisrael). Sad to say, I would reckon that very few actually even know that His Name is Yahweh, so unless one is called by Him, the prayers are not heard. Matthew 22:14, 25:31-46.

I could go on and on. Scripture demands we give an account and truly the verses in the email have been taken out of context. Then if one is going to do 2 Chronicles 7:14, then one should read Deuteronomy 30, The Law of Return, then onto all the verses I quoted from Shaul and then Isaiah 56, and so on and so on, and not stop short of just praying - ONE MUST DO, too!

Thy Kingdom Come, and quickly

I was just thinking, that as the Kingdom of Yahweh is approaching faster and what seems like at an exponential rate, the things that are man-made, created things (list way too long to post everything), once thought of as sure things, the world wide monetary system, and the tried and true things, are all turning to folly and melting away at a faster rate than an iceberg in the Gulf of Mexico. You see Yahweh is SUPREME and He will remove the things that are detestable to Him. Me Chamocha, Who is like you? There is no one and no thing that is Yahweh, but Yahweh. Hold fast to that and the things of this world will grow strangely dim.

Rain Down on Us (Me)

As it is just pouring rain outside, I can't help but to feel like this is the kind of empowerment of the Ruach HaKodesh, Yahweh wants to pour down on us, personally & corporately as His Body. Right now it's cold, wet and a bit unpleasant to be outside. Besides the fact that it's nearly 2 am, and yet I am drawn to what I know in the physical is also in the spiritual realm as well and to a greater magnitude. It's not always easy to be obedient to Yahweh and step out on faith that He knows what He is doing. It gets us in that place of uncomfortable. But in these last days, we need to look past our physical needs, what we think is right based on our feelings or what we see, and step out into the spiritual and go stand out in the rain and get annointed with The Ruach HaKodesh. It will keep us focused, grounded, equiped, full up with His Shalom, and keep our eyes, ears& heart open. We need to be ready and available to say "The Kingdom of Yahweh is at hand!" to Lost Israel. We NEED this to combat the evils that try to sidetrack us. So let it RAIN DOWN ON US! Thank you Yahweh for your Presense earlier this evening. You are so good to us.

Who is Our Source?

When a crisis arises, what do we do? Do we lean into panic and thoughts of doom and gloom? OR do we pause and inquire with Yahweh about our orders on how best to handle the crisis? So if the crisis hits you personally or globally, makes no difference and the solution is no different as well. You see Yahweh is the Creator of the universe and was, is, and will be in CONTROL of it ALL. So to make it simple, HE IS THE SOURCE OF ALL! What we think, because of our evil inclination, is that He isn't personally involved in our lives directly. But that is the illusion and the lie leading people from understanding or at least a fighting chance to understand our Creator. I remember singing in Sunday School this song "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands." So was this song a lie - NO!
I have my job, my home, food on the table and in the cupboard, and my Faith because Yahweh ordains it. He is my supplier for all my needs. Sometimes, whether I should receive them or not, also get supplied my "wants." Not all of my "wants" are actually good for me, mind you, and I will learn a lesson through the ordeal and if I don't learn the lesson as Yahweh thinks I should, I am destined to repeat the whole thing in hopes to learn what He wants me to. I am catching myself quicker to stop and inquire with Yahweh to find out if those "wants" are necessary to conduct mine and my family's lives. Because what helps or hinders one person in my family, effects the whole family and also my congregational family.
So I encourage you all to stop and listen more intently to Yahweh. We don't have the luxury to just coast and remain in the "status quo." We have to be proactive with our hearts and have an ear to hear and eyes to see what our orders are for the Kingdom. We need to be open vessels for Yahweh to move us as He see's fit, because in the natural, it's becoming more chaotic - finances, job losses, famine, spiritual warfare, and anything else that is perilous in our physical world. BUT don't lose hope, because Messiah said to "Give Him your burdens because His yoke was light." We can confidently know that HE IS IN CONTROL OF ALL! It is also written: "Some men trust in horses, some men trust chariots, but we will trust in the name of our Yah!" And Yahshua ben Nun said "As for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh."
Do you see the theme in Torah? Trust in Yah and all fear disappears. His Word is perfect and our life manual. Cooks read cookbooks and recipes, mechanics have car repair manuals, computer users need tech manuals (and sometimes call tech support) and I am sure that you can find one of those "(insert what you want to know) For Dummies" book titles or look it up on the internet. So why does mankind not open, let alone acknowledge, our "life manual: Torah." Torah, also known as the Bible: Old and New Testiments. It includes the answers to your FAQ's, how to's for everyday living, and so much more. It is Yahweh's Word to live by. All of it is vital to everyone. And contrary to popular belief, Messiah did not abolish the law, Torah. If it wasn't for sin, none of us would know what sin was. Shaul, commonly called Paul, shares that with us and puts it very plain, Yahweh's law tells us what sin is, so we have the ability to resist sin and therefore avoid the snares of the evil one.
Call in to the ultimate Tech Support Help Line: Yahweh! Hold on tight to Him, for the world is in for a bumpy ride. He is our Lifeline in times of trouble and protects us. Trust in Him and don't be afraid! Banish fear and doubt, because faith in Yahweh casts out all fear and fear comes from the pit. I don't know about you, but just in the natural, let alone the spiritual, anything down in a pit or oozing up from one, such as quicksand, is usually not good. Purposeful cisterns are another thing, but pits have a negative conotation and thus on my short list to avoid completely.
Shalom Alechem.

Blow a Shofar in Zion, Sound it on the mountain!

I love Torah, Yahweh's words are so beautiful. So helpful to us.

Eze 33:1-6 The word of Yahweh came to me: "Human being, speak to your people; say to them, 'Suppose I bring the sword on a country, and the people of that country take one of their men and appoint him their watchman. Now if, upon seeing the sword coming against that country, he blows the shofar and warns the people; then, if the sword comes and takes away someone who heard the sound of the shofar but paid no attention to it, the responsibility for that person's death will be his own — he heard the shofar but paid no attention, so the responsibility for his death is his own; whereas if he had paid attention, he would have saved his life. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the shofar, so that the people are not warned; and then the sword comes and takes any one of them, that one is indeed taken away in his guilt, but I will hold the watchman responsible for his death.'

These words from Yahweh are so profound to me and should be for all you other workers & watchmen out there. We HAVE a responsibility and if we don't follow through, we can pay dearly for it. So if there is someone who is dear to you or someone you know - who hasn't heard about the Kingdom yet, ask for guidance from the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) to see if you are allowed to speak to them. If so speak what you are told to say, He will give you the words to say and no more. If you are NOT suppose to share, keep quiet. But woe to you if you were told to do so and you don't. I encourage you all to be bold and courageous, banish fear and doubt. If Yahweh is with you, who can be against you? What can man do to me?

I think that it is easier to be bolder when one has more scripture in them. Get it IN YOU! This way you can be about the Father's business when He calls you to. I have gotten the snot kicked out of me scripturally, and boy that was a real wake up call. And I am still studying and will be till the day Messiah returns. KNOWING the real thing keeps you alert to the schemes of the adversary. 1/2 truth's are very subtle, almost sound correct, but arm yourself and study.

Have a great week. Sabbath (the 7th day - also known as Saturday) is now over and I pray you had a great day of rest & His Shalom!

The Harvest is Plenty ~ Workers are Few

This blog is meant to encourage and inspire the Workers (and everyone YHVH harvests for that matter!) We NEED to sift Israel from the nations where they have been scattered. It is our command from King Messiah Yahshua - Matthew 28:18-20 in the "Great Commision" section of scripture.

Are You a Lost Sheep? - Luke 15:1-7 & Matther 18:10-14. Messiah says that "He came for the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel" - Matthew 10:6, and 15:24. So are you Lost Israel and don't know it? The Northern 10 tribes were taken away and scattered before Judah, Benjamin & some of Levi were taken into exile by Nebucanezer. Soooo you could be? If not join like Caleb, Rahab, & Ruth. The winning side is with Israel for Yahweh is for Israel.

So...Have you heard Him call you out from the church or just regular unbelief? Are you just not quite sure what you are seeking? "Hear O Israel, Yahweh is Elohim, Yahweh is Echad (One). Love Yahweh, your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength....and You shall love your neighbor as yourself" - Mark12:29-31, Deuteronomy 6:4-5 and you are off to a great start. Then seek out a Netzerim or Messianic Jewish Synogogue in your area and be discipled. I will do my best to post only Truth and grounded in scripture on this blog, not for my sake but for the testimony of YHVH, author of The Torah. But you NEED to be discipled in person - hands on mentoring from a Yah fearing leader - a Rabbi for example.

Maybe you know that you are a Jew by herritage, but are you keeping the Covenantal Promises handed down by your forefathers? Though "Chosen" implies that it is given to us, we still have to embrace those Promises and willfully choose to live our lives for YHVH by keeping the commandments, statutes & mitzvots He gave us. Not sit back passive with our hand out without ever lifting a finger. We all need to be zealous for the Torah - His Law - as King David was. I think that he is a fine example for us all. You too, get discipled - preferably Netzerim or Messianic, because I believe in Yahshua HaMaschiac, but an Orthodox Rabbi would do, if you would feel more comfortable. They KNOW Torah.

This blog will write the name Yahweh and/or the tetragamaton YHVH - standing for Yod, Hey, Vav, Hey - Yahweh, because this is His memorial name and actually written in the original Hebrew. Some will argue this point with me, but most Bibles will give you the disclaimer at the begining of your Bible that where LORD is typed, the original Hebrew posts YHVH. So there is NO argument - it's a FACT, His Name is YHVH - Yahweh. Now in some places, the original Hebrew text have Elohim or Adonai, and should be translated as such. But I disagree to just arbitrarily call Him God, em...that's not His name. Islam says God and I surely don't worship the same entity they do. The term God gets muddled this way and makes Him seem "common" and there is no one like Yahweh, He is Yahweh Almighty - King & Creator of Heaven & Earth. I am sorry if this offends you, but maybe reading my blog will educate and not irritate you so much over time? We can only pray.

Okay Workers, the fields are white and need to be harvested - John 4:27-38. Time is short and the Kingdom of Yahweh is at hand. We can't be found sleeping when our King returns - Mark 13:32-37. There is lots to do & many, many people to be talking to about the Kingdom.
