Who is Our Source?

When a crisis arises, what do we do? Do we lean into panic and thoughts of doom and gloom? OR do we pause and inquire with Yahweh about our orders on how best to handle the crisis? So if the crisis hits you personally or globally, makes no difference and the solution is no different as well. You see Yahweh is the Creator of the universe and was, is, and will be in CONTROL of it ALL. So to make it simple, HE IS THE SOURCE OF ALL! What we think, because of our evil inclination, is that He isn't personally involved in our lives directly. But that is the illusion and the lie leading people from understanding or at least a fighting chance to understand our Creator. I remember singing in Sunday School this song "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands." So was this song a lie - NO!
I have my job, my home, food on the table and in the cupboard, and my Faith because Yahweh ordains it. He is my supplier for all my needs. Sometimes, whether I should receive them or not, also get supplied my "wants." Not all of my "wants" are actually good for me, mind you, and I will learn a lesson through the ordeal and if I don't learn the lesson as Yahweh thinks I should, I am destined to repeat the whole thing in hopes to learn what He wants me to. I am catching myself quicker to stop and inquire with Yahweh to find out if those "wants" are necessary to conduct mine and my family's lives. Because what helps or hinders one person in my family, effects the whole family and also my congregational family.
So I encourage you all to stop and listen more intently to Yahweh. We don't have the luxury to just coast and remain in the "status quo." We have to be proactive with our hearts and have an ear to hear and eyes to see what our orders are for the Kingdom. We need to be open vessels for Yahweh to move us as He see's fit, because in the natural, it's becoming more chaotic - finances, job losses, famine, spiritual warfare, and anything else that is perilous in our physical world. BUT don't lose hope, because Messiah said to "Give Him your burdens because His yoke was light." We can confidently know that HE IS IN CONTROL OF ALL! It is also written: "Some men trust in horses, some men trust chariots, but we will trust in the name of our Yah!" And Yahshua ben Nun said "As for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh."
Do you see the theme in Torah? Trust in Yah and all fear disappears. His Word is perfect and our life manual. Cooks read cookbooks and recipes, mechanics have car repair manuals, computer users need tech manuals (and sometimes call tech support) and I am sure that you can find one of those "(insert what you want to know) For Dummies" book titles or look it up on the internet. So why does mankind not open, let alone acknowledge, our "life manual: Torah." Torah, also known as the Bible: Old and New Testiments. It includes the answers to your FAQ's, how to's for everyday living, and so much more. It is Yahweh's Word to live by. All of it is vital to everyone. And contrary to popular belief, Messiah did not abolish the law, Torah. If it wasn't for sin, none of us would know what sin was. Shaul, commonly called Paul, shares that with us and puts it very plain, Yahweh's law tells us what sin is, so we have the ability to resist sin and therefore avoid the snares of the evil one.
Call in to the ultimate Tech Support Help Line: Yahweh! Hold on tight to Him, for the world is in for a bumpy ride. He is our Lifeline in times of trouble and protects us. Trust in Him and don't be afraid! Banish fear and doubt, because faith in Yahweh casts out all fear and fear comes from the pit. I don't know about you, but just in the natural, let alone the spiritual, anything down in a pit or oozing up from one, such as quicksand, is usually not good. Purposeful cisterns are another thing, but pits have a negative conotation and thus on my short list to avoid completely.
Shalom Alechem.
